Greeting all from Northwest Arkansas!
I am still waiting on the my CCW permit to arrive. I am going on a road trip this weekend with the wife and kids going from Arkansas to my folks place in Texas. I am not sure of the "travel" laws for Oklahoma and Texas for a non-CCW holder. Any thoughts???????
If death is what we fear, our freedoms were never realized.
The new Texas law does not make any distinctions between residents and non residents of the state. So as long as the handgun is concealed, you can carry it loaded in your car while your on your trip.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

In Texas, you're good to go, so long as it is concealed inside your vehicle.
