    Ballistics dogs

I am thinking of taking my handgun on the road.
The problem is I drive a company owned 18 wheeler across country.
They're policy is "No firearms allowed in their trucks".
Also some of the places I pickup and deliver to are posted "No Guns".
And then theres the DOT, I'm not 100% certain of their regulation on this matter.
But, if I choose to ignore "logic" and decide to bring it with me.
What is the chance the gun would be dectected by a "ballistics dog" if one were to walk around my truck?

Just FYI ~ You may ask questions here on DefensiveCarry regarding posted "No Firearms" signs and Company Policy but, not questions regarding skirting the DOT Department of Transportation laws.
