Missouri CCW - Restricted places
I was reading through Missouri's law and they seem very decent! It looks like if you carry at a prohibited place, you are not in violation of a criminal act. They have to ask you to leave.. and if you don't, only then will you be charged with a crime (a guess it's different though if you carry on a bus, then its a criminal act!).
I wish more states were like this! We are going to Branson this weekend, and maybe go to Silver Dollar City!

2. Carrying of a concealed firearm in a location specified in subdivisions (1) to (17) of subsection 1 of this section by any individual who holds a** concealed carry endorsement issued pursuant to sections 571.101 to 571.121 shall not be a criminal act but may subject the person to denial to the premises or removal from the premises. If such person refuses to leave the premises and a peace officer is summoned, such person may be issued a citation for an amount not to exceed one hundred dollars for the first offense. ...

clacky,
That is exactly right. We had some very good law makers on our side that made sure it was written like that. Only thing is they forgot about public busses and the metro link (a commuter train). If found on either of those with a handgun, permit or not is an instint feloney.
Missouri CCW law's are some of the best and continue to get better. We were able to repeal our stupid PTA (permit to aquire) when purchasing a handgun that you had to go to the sheriff and ask permission as well we where able to pass a Castle law at the same time. Missouri also accepts all other states valid permits and our permits are good in 34 states, the most I believe than any other state.
Keep it concealed and no one will know you are carrying as usual so no one will have a need to ask you to leave. The problem with this is tho, IF you happen to slip up and you are discovered the cop's will most likely be called as not many if any business owners even know what the law say's about asking you to leave, most cop's do not as well so expect a delay if it comes to that.
You are doing the right thing researching the carry laws before you go, knowledge is power and you will know more then 99.9% of business owners and LEO's out there.
Have a good trip and be safe!
Where's salty squid? Read it and weep dude.

Thats rather bad, thats like saying, if you don't have a car or dont want to spend money on taxi then you shouldn't be entitled to have a permit .
So only people that can afford transportation should have permit it seems .....

Exactly, The public transportation mix up was due to fear of terrorist act's, like that is going to do a dang thing for that. If anything, people carrying have a better chance of stopping a terrorist that would take over a bus but the sad part is they will likely not be properly trained to act in the situation.
I just don't understand how the top percentage of the county (people who can get a chl) are not trusted to carry on a bus or commuter train when we all know that the ones that will take over a bus or the train will be a non chl holder. The only ones that will adhere to the law is the permit holders and that makes the people that ride/have to ride the bus or metro link sitting ducks as this is just another stupid GFZ.

Do yourself a favor and skip silver Dollar City. The owners are the ones who funded a lot of the push to keep Missouri from ever even having a CCW.

Public Transit, a rolling criminal enhancement zone. A fresh flock every 15 minutes for your robbing convenience.
