NV and UT permit arrive on same day

Amazing. I applied for the UT permit one month later and they both arrive on the same day. NV permit app 10-17-07 UT 11-14-07.

My mailbox was broken into on Saturday. I would have been so mad had someone stolen both permits. I dont even like to think about it.

so about 10 weeks for the NV permit. That is a good timeline to go by.

Amazing! Clark County sending you a CCW permit in only 10 weeks? I was impressed when I got mine at 90 days last year. It has teken all of the 120 days allowed by the Nevada Revised Statutes, and sometimes even longer. Just for grins, check out the issue date listed on your permit. It took me 6 months to happen to notice that while they took 90 days, the issue date was only a few days after I submitted the application! So, I would find it interesting to see if yours is similar.

It took me 4 months to get my UT permit (May-Sept 07). Looks like UT has caught up with the backlog some.

Congratulations. I am glad UT is catching up. I hear my UT may be good in some parts of NV.

Should be good in all parts. To my understanding the rules for North LV and Boulder apply to unlicensed ccw in a vehicle. Open carry is still legal but loitering is prohibited. Licensed ccw is permitted.

Anyone with contrary understanding please correct me.

OHHHHHHHHHH, how much easier our little lives would be if all states would just honor our permits. If I'm a good little boy in Kentucky then why would I become an outlaw in Oregon? A little over the top but you get my point. Okay, I feel better now.

Applied for my UT permit right after the Trolly Square mall shooting. Seems half the state did to. Took 120 days then but I've heard they are all caught up on them now.

Not exactly sure what you mean, but I'll take a stab at it. In Nevada, you can carry a loaded gun concealed in your car without a permit, as long as it isn't on your person. However, Boulder City and the city of North Las Vegas do not allow concealed cary in the vehicle (glove box, etc) without a CCW permit. The gun has to be in plain view in the car in those two areas. I hope that helps.
