This is a discussion on Cleaning your CCW gun. within the Concealed Carry Issues & Discussions forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; I wipe it down every day, but like most here I clean primarily after I've been to the range, which regrettably is only about once ...
(gun) Every couple of days.
(gun) Once a Week.
(gun) Every Few Weeks.
(gun) Once a Month.
(gun) Once a year or when ever I think of it.
(mag) I do the above and check the mag Daily.
(mag) I only check the mag when I do my general inspection.
I wipe it down every day, but like most here I clean primarily after I've been to the range, which regrettably is only about once a month. Less than I'd like, but I also like not having the gun freeze to my hands.
If it takes more than a month to get out and shoot it, I usually clean it.
I also checked 'Check what?' If I had mags, I'd check them every day, as well. I fire a revo, however, so I usually check to make sure the cylinder spins. Oh, and that it's loaded. That helps.

My carry weapon is a M&P 40 I got it stored away until Blackhawk sends me a new Holster. When I carry it I clean every other week. I'm carrrying my G22 till I get my M&P squared away. I clean my Glock whenever I think about it, or every trip to the range which ever comes first.

Every few weeks, after a range trip. I try to get out to the range twice a month or more, weather permitting.
Every time I shoot, generally once a week. I voted for once a week. If I don't shoot it (I do have a couple I don't always shoot), I don't clean it other than a quick inspection and wipe.

I keep a can of compressed air by my bed and blow out the lint every night. It gets either a swipe of oil or CLP every several days (air blows out some oil, I presume, so I replenish the light coat as necessary). The leather on my holster makes the leather-side of the slide look funny, so I wipe that more often with a bit of oil or CLP. It gets a good cleaning after every trip to the range.
not sure what exactly you want me to check on the mag. I drop it every night to de-chamber my gun. I use it to re-chamber every morning. Does that count? I purposefully do this routine because I want there to be SOME requisite clear-headed-ness in order to make the gun function in the middle of the night if I awaken to a bump in said night.
Usually once a month unless I shoot it. It's winter now, so I'm limited on shooting areas.

It seems that the most obvious choice was omitted from this poll:
X Soon after each time that it is fired.
Carry gun is my competition gun so practice weekly if not more but down right cold out recently, field strip and Weapon Shield after practice, detail strip when I change springs.

I clean and lube everything after it's been used. Usually after each range visit. This is usually twice a month.
As always... just my opinion.

I use to shoot IPSC, the only time I had failures was if I didn't get a chance to shoot after a good cleaning to dirty it up a bit.
I now carry a Glock and shoot jacketed bullets and smokless powder; so what's to clean????? I clean it after a couple thousand rounds; check for obstructions & lint daily and hand cycle a half dozen rounds about 1 a week. I will not carry a clean gun, after a good cleaning I step out back and fire 1 mag to dirty it up and make sure it is working.
After every trip to the range.
That would be about every other week.
