HHHMMMMM. Good for her!!! About time some shows got "real".
I can honestly hear some mamby-pamby news person saying "give in, yield to them, and maybe you won't get hurt, blah blah blah"
    Congrats to her!!!

Based on the preview, it sounds like they will put a positive "spin" on this.

I was annoyed when the announcer called her rifle a "machine gun". I was even more annoyed when they had her show WHERE she hid her weapons. I was slightly relieved to see how secure her home was with the bars, fence, cameras, etc... until I realized that she was a single mom and kept multiple presumably loaded firearms lying about in her bedroom within reach of her kids.

That's when I switched back to the History channel.

If I had my way, I'd build a house like the one in "Hostage".

yea i didnt get a chance to see it. darn.
you cant expect the media to actually get stuff right concerning guns.
at least, as it sounds, they made it sounds like it was a good thing she had them.
thats rare enough. i wont complain.

I caught it last night. I was really quite shocked when she started pulling all those weapons from under her mattress. The thing that really made me think was when I saw the price tag still hanging from the rifle. Makes me think that she's never even fired the thing and may not know how to use it when the time comes. I could be wrong... she might be a champ in 3 gun competition. Kudos to her though. She had her house broken into a couple of times before and she put up a large fence around her backyard and nice security cameras. It's her castle and she's doing her best to defend it!

Yup. A piano in the house doesn't make one a pianist.

Boy, you've got that one right. I have a piano in the house and YOU WOULD NOT want to hear me play it. Although, I do sing some nice tunes in the shower.
