Got Made Today
Just before going in to Walwart today my six year old daughter grabbed my t-shirt and told me my Kahr P9 was showing. She was very quiet and pulled my shirt back over my gun. She has watched the "NRA Eddie the Eagle" DVD many times and knows that Daddy has a gun. She knows that we have a firearm to protect us from bad guys. I have told her in the past that this is something better kept as a family secret. I was very happy with the way she handled this situation. It gives me an extra set of eyes.

6yrs old and already watching your "six." Raising them right, obviously. Good for her.

Wally World......my wife and 4yo boy are scooting past the periodicals inroute to the makeup and the boy stops mommy and says "that guy has a gun like daddys" while pointing at a 'gun-nut-gun-porn' magizine onthe bottom rack.
Of course I wanna know why everyone is looking at me when I turn the corner with a gallon of milk and two boxes of WWB's.

That is a good kid you have there. My oldest is approaching 3, and I allready have had a small talk with her. I can only hope that I do as good a job as you.
I will support gun control when you can guarantee all guns are removed from this planet. That includes military and law enforcement. When you can accomplish that, then I will be the last person to lay down my gun. Then I will carry the weapon that replaces the gun.
