It depends on what handgun(s) I'm carrying, so here's the load for each of my usual CCWs:
Kimber Ultra CDP II -- .45 ACP
7 + 1 in weapon
7 in extra mag
15 Rounds (will sometimes carry a second extra mag, bringing this to 22)
Colt Detective Special -- .38 Special
6 rounds in cylinder
6 rounds in speed loader
Kel-Tec P-3AT -- .380 ACP
6 + 1 in weapon
6 in extra mag
So, if I carry the Kimber and the Kel-Tec, I'll carry a minimum of 28 rounds.

I carry spare mags for back-up / malfunction reasons, not expecting to reload.

I usually carry my XD45 4" with a spare mag. That is 27 rounds of ammunition since I top off my mag after I chamber a round. Add to that my pocket carry Kahr PM9 with 7 rounds of ammo and Im looking at 34 total rounds available.

Certainly depends on which handgun(s) I am carrying but my most often carried handgun for the last several months in an XD-45 Service model so my round count would be 27 unless I know that I am going into Philadelphia then I carry 2 extra mags rather than just on plus the BUG.

1 in chamber
1 10 round mag in gun
1 10 round spare mag

I carry one extra magazine, regardless of the capacity of the handgun I am carrying.
So............. Anywhere from 13 to 35.

Just 7 on a daily bases. The further out of my element I get, the higher the ammo count goes.
