How do you get out of New Jersistan with a gun?

Florida permit, I was thinking of going to the range (in PA) then to the game.

I have not been to a Flyers game this season but last season they were running metal detector wands at the entrance that we used. I was carrying so once I saw that at the front of the line I quickly remembered that I had forgotten something in my car and went and stowed the handgun in the car. Fortunately we parked fairly close to the entrance.

It is private property so they do have a right to make that decision just like I can on my property.

If they find it, what's the worse they can do? Deny admission?

They could deny admission, I would be OK. My sons on the other hand would be very upset as this is the first flyers game they are going to.

they're weird with what events they choose to bar weapons. i've been there a couple of times, and i never knew what to expect. the last time i went was to see TOOL in concert, and they only thing they were concerned with were cameras and DVRs. they never did a weapons check. i'd just walk up, and see the situation for yourself.

Since when does NJ honor a Florida CCW permit? Honestly, if this is something new, I'd like to know.

Just because he has Florida permit doesn't mean he carries in NJ. Just means he can carry in other places! Don't assume just because he has a permit that he uses where he can't.
"Gun Free Zones" is where only criminals carry guns.

Bizarre, I'll be at that game. As earlier stated they wand people going through. I'm not sure on their policy with us "legals" and I don't intend to find out at the door. Should find out though for future reference.

Enjoy the game. I'm not into Hockey but the tickets were offered and I knew the boys (11, 8) would enjoy it.

No slam intended. I live in PA and travel to the in-laws in NJ frequently and feel naked once I cross the Delaware. I thought you had a work-around for the Socialist Republic of New Jersey's anti-constitutional laws.
