Congrats to you and the wife. My husband and I work as a team as well. It is great fun and it allows us a chance to have more time together ane we know what to expect from eachother if TCHTF. Double congrats on your wife not wanting to be a , and taking responcability for herself and your /her son.

This is a new avenue for my wife. But as for me I've been invovled with law enforcement for several years so about the only difference for me is I'll have another ID to put in my wallet. I've been really laxed about carrying so I'm sure it'll change now that my wife will be carrying as well. Which is a good thing and something I should've never let slip away. My wife has been really good about the whole process. She's really interested in shooting again now that she has a reason to shoot other than just for fun. We will definately have to budget a little more for practice ammo now. Thanks for the warm welcome into the CC community.

    Congratulations!

Do you already have your carry weapons or is there a gun shop trip on the near horizon?

We already have some carry weapons, but I'm always looking for more. My wife seems pretty content with her G26 and shoots it quite well. I'm looking into a G19. One reason being cheaper ammo and it'll hold 15+1. I have some.45's but they are expensive to shoot very much and I really enjoy shooting. Now that it'll be the 2 of us shooting more I like the idea of having matching calibers and some universal mags. I recently bought a Kimber Pro Carry HD II. I had another thread on it. I'm toying with the idea of selling it already and stocking up on some more Glocks. It shoots nice but I'm so use to shooting Glocks and feel more comfortable with them and feel they are more reliable in my situation.

Way to go, you passed the class. It will take about 45 days to get everything back from the AG.
By the way, I like to think of this as passing the CCH 101 class and there is so much more to learn. Pleased spend as much time as possible learnoing more, as the CCH class really does little more than touch on some of the things you really need to know or have.
Best wishes to you and yours.
