    Smile Newbies to CCH!

    Well my wife and I took our CCH class for Kansas this Sunday and both passed. We filled out our application online and went to the Sheriffs Dept. this morning for our fingerprints. Now we just have to wait for our confirmation letter from the Attorney General to get our license. I think after the class she now realizes how good it feels to be able to protect herself and our son if she needs to. I've heard it's about a 3 week turn around time. It's going to be a long wait. Just thought I'd let you know we're finally joining the ranks of self protection. This is a great informative site and I've recommended it to a couple of my friends. Thanks for all the great posts.

    Congrats! Three week turn around is great! It took 3 months to get my SC permit which was twice as long as me getting my non resident FL permit.
    Go figure.
