To keep everything legal and still carry you need to apply for a Florida “Part-Time Resident” driver’s license. This license will only be valid in Florida and will list your Florida address. You still get to keep your Arizona Drivers license.

Know since you have a CCW from Arizona and a driver’s license from Arizona, Florida will recognize you as lawful CC. If you get into an accident or any other driving related issue you will have your Florida Drivers license.

Keep it this way until you get your Florida CCW and then convert your Part time resident driver’s license into a full time resident driver’s license.

Make sure when you go to get your Florida license you tell them you want a part time resident license.

If push comes to shove, ARE you a part-time resident, or just trying to sidestep the law? You will do what you determine best, but IMHO, I doubt the law thinks of you as a part-time resident, whatever you may want to call yourself.
