Way to go GA! Now if only our law makers would just come in from the outhouse and add GA to the list then we will all be happy....
So, does that mean WV(which has reciprocity w/Arkansas I think) will soon get it with GA? Weird how two states could have full reciprocity with the same 1 state but not with each other.
"The right of the whole people, old and young, men, women and boys, and not militia only, to keep and bear arms of every description, not such merely as are used by the militia, shall not be infringed, curtailed, or broken in upon, in the smallest degree..."
Nunn v. State GA 1848
All the more reason for writting your congress people and urging them to support H.R. 861, the "National Right-to-carry reciprocity act of 2007"
This would amend title 18 of the U.S code to provide a national standard in accordance with which nonresidents of a state may carry concealed firearms in the state. It would require states to recognize each others carry permits, just as they recognize drivers licenses and carry permits held by armored car guards.
This legislation is currently being reviewed and let hope it makes it to the floor of the House of Reps...so get them cards and letter in the mail asking for support of H.R. 861.
I just read the email from my range about this. It's about time, now if Arkansas will just make it a formal reciprocity I can go visit my sister in Fort Smith.

Check Arkansas's State Police web site. I believe that as of July 2007, Arkansas honors CCW permits from all states, for the sake of simplicity.
And for those of you in Georgia, please support HB915 - The Second Amendment Protection Act.
Oh, and Arkansas! I'm a child of two parents from the cotton fields of Craighead and Mississippi counties.
Sorry about that...Craighead and Mississippi counties.
