Tangle Did Hit a Good Point!

Why was the bad guy hit 5 times? Pressure of the situation = bad shot placement? An attempt to stop with a non-fatal hit? Just plain nerves?

I think we need to know more to comment or disparage!

I am just happy to hear a sheepdog had the guts to ACT! :chairshot

I haven't heard any details, but if he followed the doctrine of continuing to shoot until the opponent was stopped, then he might well rip off five shots quick. I just hope it wasn't deemed excessive.

The decision to intervene can never be taken lightly. How many are the bereaved families of good samaritans and off duty LEO's killed by those in uniform who can't be expected to take time to sort everything out before acting out of their training.

A thought I had was did he really know his background was safe or was he just "lucky" that one of his five shots didn't hit a bystander?
