Why not have your friend try this perverted logic on some of the women in the forrum that have been violently assaulted and now carry, bet he run's for cover before they are done with him.

Sheldon - much of that would be lost on him - remember he is in UK and sadly, seems to have gotten ''liberalitis'' more and more. Was a time, back when he made my holsters, he'd eyeball the Redhawk amd M27 and get all enthusiastic.

Must be his male menopause perhaps - just don't know.

I had my own son set me straight on this issue just a week ago.

We were on vacation in the mountains, at my inlaws place, in New Hampshire. It was night time and he wanted to be daring and go see the barn at the bottom of the hill. It's about 100 yards out and could be seen even with the minimal outside lighting of the cottage.

I said "ok, lets take a walk" He said "Dad! Aren't you bringing your gun??" I looked at him mildly surprised. (My son well knows I have been training in and teaching the martial arts for as long as he can remember) I said. "I'm right here, who do you think is hiding out there in the middle of nowhere?"

Now get this...........He said "Oh yeah? What if a bear or a mountain lion pops out of nowhere What are ya gonna do then? "Karate man"

Go on, laugh..........I deserve it :-)

No laugh Mike - he was being pretty astute I'd say.

I would not put down your MA skills one bit but when it comes to tooth and claw - I think the gun gives way better odds - yeah!

The most loathed statements I have are, generally, any statements coming out of a liberal gun grabber's mouth.
