Untucked IWB this morning
Had a interesting thing happen to me this morning. After my chamber and magazine check I went to tuck in my shirt as I normally do. Got to work and as usual I am about the 4th one in the door. Took off my jacket and walked all the way to the bathroom, no one is in my path the entire way got to the bathroom as I usually do to check to make certain the v-clips aren't showing and there it is in its full glory.
My CCO was very visible.
I had some how tucked the shirt over the mag area but not the slide area. I was very surprised when I saw it. So now I have a third thing to add to my checks in the morning.
-Chamber check
-Mag check
-Is the weapon covered

Oops it happens…. Don’t bring it up, and hopefully no one noticed

I know how that goes. I walked into Sportsmen wharehouse the otherday and the casher came over and in a low voice told me your weapon is showing. It happens to us all.

It also goes to show how unaware most people are. Most won't even notice the unconcealed handgun, and a truly miniscule portion would ever "make" the concealed one.

At least you remembered to put your gun in your holster. That is a bigger oops.

ALWAYS carry! - NEVER tell!

I had about the same thing happen to me in a store I was calling on. The store manager came over to me and said, "your slip is showing". We both carry and got a laugh out of the situation but I can only imagine had some little lady made the discovery rather than a gun friendly store owner.
