Tripp Research Cobra Coat's durability
This is a discussion on Tripp Research Cobra Coat's durability within the Concealed Carry Issues & Discussions forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; and long term durability.....
Am I wrong or is this subject being avoided on some other "experts" forums.
maybe this is the most applicable forum ...

Tripp Research Cobra Coat's durability
and long term durability.....
Am I wrong or is this subject being avoided on some other "experts" forums.
maybe this is the most applicable forum to ask since ya'll actually discuss real issues instead of just flaing your pretty gun pics.
If I do a search on Cobra Coat all I get is "rave reviews" about how great it is.
Yes, pics of new guns and or freshly refinished and Non-carry guns are nice..
BUT....
Does anybody here actually carry a Cobra Coated pistol in a holster on a daily basis? long term....
That is what some of us want to know about and to see pictures of said examples.
I want to have my SS Kimber refinshed in Black Cobra Coat but I want to see pics and read reviews after long term hard use first.
Thank you !!

MM - no personal experience but - I decided to do a search over on High Road and maybe the links will help a bit - does seem many folks rate a hard chrome finish highest for durability but of course that ain't dark..
