Isn't Deters a former cop? I think I heard that when he was on radio with Bill Cunningham.

The reporter, Brenden Keef, also did a pretty decent story about CCW a while back. He went through the class, and has held CHL's in 3 or 4 different states, as well as a former IDPA competitor. Really nice guy in person as well.

I recall hearing about Deters when I lived in Dayton during the mid-90s. Liked what I heard then and what I hear now.!!

WOW! Now that's what it should be like everywhere...BG's beware...

I'll bet the crime rate has declined in that county...

The southwest corner of Ohio tends to be fairly :cough:conservative:cough:, some good, some bad depending on your brand of politics.

Not really, theres a shooting reported daily in hamilton county and home invasions reported 5 out of 7 days.

Well imagine that, turn on the news and see another home invasion in cincinnati area. I really believe thats one of the reasons Joe deters doesnt prosecute. The cincinnati cops are actually over whelmed by the violence taking place in the queen city.

Thats because Deters doesnt like to go after non-news worthy crime... he likes the big ticket gat your face in front of a camera type stuff only. He's great for CCW, but not so great all around.
