Travel Advice for Idaho
My wife and I are going to visit my grandparents and what not. I am flying to Salt Lake City from Nashville. I am in the process of contacting the airlines and reading up on the local laws. My ,ain question is does anyone know of a good range in Idaho Falls or surrounding area? I will bet that my aunts husband would like to go out and go shooting. If not then I would still like to go.

It's one great state to visit or live in. I'm sorry, but I can't help you on ranges.

Check out the NRA's "national registry" of shooting ranges: click.

Great place to live. In most of Idaho the best ranges are just out the back door most anywhere! Very good gun state. There are even touns where gun ounership is mandatory in a household. Not really inforced but still on the books! Used to live up in Moscow ID. Good living.

I was stationed in IF for 2 years back in the 90's...pack your household good and find a house out there. You will not want to leave.

I live in southwestern Idaho and I absolutely love it! Moved here from Vegas 3 years ago. I'm not sure about gun ranges around Idaho Falls, but this state has plenty of nice BLM land. Find a safe place with a good backstop and let 'er rip! Enjoy your stay. ps~ not only is it a nice place to live, the hunting is great too!!
