My EDC has been a Tomcat in a pocket holster. My job is such that I can't always wear a cover garment. I just got a Kahr P9 with night sights. It should be make a great EDC, but I am not sure about how to carry it. What do you think? Thanks.

I think if those were my options, I keep the Tomcat in the pocket and put the PF9 in either a smart-carry or an ankle holster.

If you carry in Condition 3, you have two empty chambers. One in the weapon...the other between your ears.

Do you wear an untucked shirt or polo where you work? If so, a quality IWB would work for the P9. I carry my PM9 IWB and it just disappears, I never really wear cover garments here in FL.
I carried a P9 in a tuckable IWB with no issues. (Galco USA) A t-shirt will conceal it.
I guess I'm not sure what you mean by cover garment. I have a Kahr PM 9 which works well with a UBG IWB but I generally wear pullover shirts. If won't work if you have to wear a tuck in shirt.
I have a PM40 that I carry in a Galco pocket holster or a Galco USA. The USA is tuckable and even with a tight T-shirt there is no printing. I can wear it at the1:00 position if I am going to be standing (pokes a bit if I am going to be seated for long periods, perhaps because the holster is for a P40 and is too long. Galco does not make a USA for the PM40). I cal also wear it between the 3:00 and 6:00 position. Great holster. The pocket holster is great with big open pockets. Since I wear jeans 90% of the time, it would take me 30 seconds to draw from the pocket with jeans....just too long. If you want one of the Galco USA's, order it now. They are in stock. It took me 4 months to get it in.
I prefer my weapon hanging my my strong side, it's much quicker to bring to action, and not unconfortable to wear either. If you are always wearing a cover garmet such as a vest or jacket or ever a shirt tail out I think strong side is the way to go. A quality leather or even a good plastic such as a Fobus is hard to beat, and don't over look a paddle hoster either. My openion.
