Around 2000 rounds of .45 acp fmj and 500 rounds of Ranger SXT. I never get down to my last case before I restock.
Treat me good, I'll treat you better. Treat me bad, I'll treat you worse.
One needs at least 500 rounds for each caliber handgun you have. I still need to buy more ammo for some of my handguns but I have at least 2000 rounds now.
At least 600 .45 ACP in a long term storage can. 300 in my BOB. The rifle ammo will be easier since they can be bought in battle packs that are set up for storage. I plan to have at least 1000 rounds of that as well.
Several thousand, all handloads.

I currently only serve local customers and do not ship ammunition. Thanks for understanding.

Normally have well over 1,000, but the last range trip with my daughter depleted my stock.

I keep about four boxes of factory HP to keep my defensive guns loaded, along with a box of #4 and box of 000 buck for my Mossy.
I seldom have practice ammo around, because I shoot it up quickly.
I don't hoard ammo, although with the world going the way it is, I might start.
Indeed--you can never have too much. If a range session includes at least 200 rounds for pistol practice in any particular caliber, I'd hate to look at it in terms of a 10% loss in my operational plan. I like to keep those expenditures down in the single digit range as much as possible. This lessens the immediate impact for re-supply.

I'm sure that I'm on the low side compared to the rest of you. Couple of hundred max.....and that's spread out over 4 calibers.
Enough for anything other than the zombie invasion......but I'd prob do better to buy range ammo in bulk.
Right now about 1700 or so. I havent been buying lately so it's coming back around time to start stocking back up. I usually keep well over 2,000 rounds in case the zombies invade.

<----My LT was unhappy that I did not have my PASS-Tag at that fire. But I found the body so he said he would overlook it. :)
Enough to last me the rest of my life, and I keep on reloading more--go figure.
