It's who you are and what you stand for that are important in life. A mere dollar to help the cause. Anyone order from Midway USA? Do you round-up with your order? Just like this site. It's a worthy cause, a wealth of information, something that re-enforces my standards and principles, and useful to me in everyday life. It's been four weeks since Christmas---I urge everyone who reads this to pledge just a little support to this site, or any venue that furthers the cause. Don't be afraid---it's not like sticking your NRA decal on your window. Get out of the closet now and support something you believe in!
I would point out that the petition and that email is just a generic petition site, and not specifically oriented towards anything other than supporting their business of hosting petitions. I'm not getting that dollar -- the site that hosts all the petitions is. Become a site supporter at DefensiveCarry (is that what you meant?)... We're definitely getting more than we pay for here.
The facts are indisputable. There is more data supporting the benefits of Conceal Carry than there is supporting global warming. If you choose ignorance, in light of all the evidence, in order to bolster your irrational fear of guns, you are a greater threat to society than any gun owner.

War is not the ugliest of things. Worse is the decayed state of moral feeling which thinks nothing is worth a war. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which he cares for more than his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free. -J.S. Mill

Been there. Understood. Merely replying to the question. By the way--I urge everyone who frequents this site, or has made positive gains in their everyday lives pursuing their values and principles to turn loose of the purse strings tonight, right here, right now. Just do it, and you'll feel more secure in the morning. Donate to the cause, and we can resume this conversation in a year's time. What-d-ya say?

    Make it 110.
The situation will NEVER BE THE WAY YOU WANT, it WILL BE THE WAY IT IS. You must be FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO ADAPT and just "DEAL WITH IT".
