I tend to agree. Although that could be said of almost any pro-gun petition sent to a government entity (becomes public info). I think maybe the goal was to keep the post on top of the forum and keep people coming. If the mods would consider a temporary sticky, it would keep it in front of people without needing to "ping" the thread. Then, I say, delete the numbers. Mods? What say ye?

I originally said 4-6 weeks, but maybe 8 weeks at most.
The facts are indisputable. There is more data supporting the benefits of Conceal Carry than there is supporting global warming. If you choose ignorance, in light of all the evidence, in order to bolster your irrational fear of guns, you are a greater threat to society than any gun owner.

I guess you've never put your ticket in the box for the door prize at gun shows have you? Anytime--any place. I'm not embarrassed about anything. I'm ready. The question is---are you? This is not a group thing, and you've invited yourself to the O K Corral----either shoot, or get out of the way.

My point had nothing to do with embarrassment, or about being ready, or asking anyone in particular if "they were ready". And sorry, that is not the question. If you think it is, you have little concept of what OPSEC or COMMSEC is.

Cute. Keep working on it, and maybe you'll reach your 1000th post on your 1 month anniversary here at DC.

I submitted the petition to several gun related blogs and a few other forums that I'm on that are National Park related (yellowstone and Rocky Mountain National Park)... Keep it spreading!

The petition seems to be getting some attention from elsewhere. I've posted it in a few places (but where I posted it is not responsible for this surge in "signatures"....)

Thanks to everyone for helping to get the word out... but we need MORE. If you take part in other political or gun related forums where it's appropriate to do so, please continue to pass the information along!

    557, happy to sign.

Regret that it took me so long.

Sad that there are "only" 557 so far....
