    SAS invitation

Received the following from another list:
Join SAS and friends on the sidewalk outside the Supreme Court Building,
First and Maryland Avenue, NE, Washington, DC at 9:00 AM. We urge all
    pro-human rights, pro-liberty, pro-gun, and pro-Second Amendment
citizens to join us as we hold vigil during these momentous hearings.

Signs are welcome--computer-generated or hand drawn both are great! We
may also need some extra hands to help carry SAS banners!

SCOTUS is located about 2-1/2 blocks from the Capitol South Metro
(Orange/Blue line) and 5 blocks from Union Station Metro (red line).
    Parking is practically non-existent.

All demonstrators must stay off the Supreme Court steps! And please be
polite with your bullhorns! SEE YOU MARCH 18!

Audio of the hearing will be released later in the day March 18.

    SCOTUS DETAILS:

Location: The SCOTUS building public entrance is located on First Street
between Maryland Avenue and East Capitol Street. Handicapped
accessibility to the building itself is available on Maryland Avenue.

Transportation: SCOTUS is located 2-1/2 blocks from the Capitol South
Metro station (Blue and Orange lines) and 5 blocks from the Union
    Station Metro station (Red line).

SAS encourages you to wear clothing and carry signs that reflect
advocacy for our right to keep and bear arms. Self defense is a basic
    human right!

I'm just one root in a grassroots organization. No one should assume that I speak for the VCDL.

I am neither an attorney-at-law nor I do play one on television or on the internet. No one should assumes my opinion is legal advice.

I was confused as well. But this is just as cool as hanging with the SAS (well maybe not quite as cool...). And it's a great cause. I wish I could be there! I'll just have to support them from here in Cincinnati *crosses fingers*.

I thought the same thing...glad to know I wasn't alone. I couldn't figure out why the SAS would be hanging out in D.C
"If I was an extremist, our founding fathers would all be extremists," he said. "Without them, we wouldn't have our independence. We'd be a disarmed British system of feudal subjectivity."
