It all depends on the LEO that you come into contact with. If he is having a bad day, he could write to your judge, telling him that you were a bad boy and were carrying on a "restricted" permit. The judge may or may not take some kind of action up to revoking your permit.

When I got my permit in June it also had the target, hunting restrictions on it. My judge said she never grants an unrestricted license on the initial application but would remove the restrictions in 24 months if I maintained a clean record. I was able to talk her down to 18 months. 9 more months to go!

Concealed and Premise.....Concealed is concealed. God forbid you have to use it, State Police will give you a chance to explain....I hope.

    God forbid.....

i have the application at home for my Schenectady county pistol permit. It says on there that i must attend a course at the Guan Ho Hah (spelling?) gun range. Its a 3 night (3 hours a night) course. I don't know if its considered "advanced" but it's $40 including the "supplies" and you must get to shoot something (assumingly pellet gun) because in the supplies it lists co2. Dunno if this helps, but you can call them to see if they have an advanced course? Its def closer than rochester.

No way! I've gone through too much time and effort doing things right to put my license in jeopardy. It took me 5 months to get my license and it's been 9 months since I got it. Like I said, only 9 months left before the judge removes the restrictions.
