call me lazy, but i dont "carry" at home. Instead, i have my glock 17 on my night stand, the AK loaded in the closet, and if i am downstairs (live in a 2 story apartment), i'll leave my glock 26 on the tv table while i cook or watch the boob toob. Once i leave the house, the glock 17 goes into the gun safe, the glock 26 goes into a pocket holster in my jeans or if i am in shorts or sweats, a fanny pack.

I carry all the time too....usually my Kahr PM9, but my home defense Beretta 92G Vertec (with 43 rounds of Speer 124 grain Gold Dot JHP's) and my Saiga 12 gauge are not far from me.

The only time I am not carrying is when I walk through the gates at work (unfortunately). I carry, my girl carries, and all my kids can shoot (6, 9 and 11). As a matter of fact I would put my 11 year old daughter up against any person with our AR-15. I;m convinced she is unstoppable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I carry 24/7 as the saying goes. I don't take it off just because I come home at after work. If someone were to knock on my door at night my hand is on my gun before I look outside to see who it is. I hope to never be surprised at home, just as on the street.

(from reading various other boards and this subject coming up and the "armchair elitists" replying as I did above when I carry in the home also, Kimber Pro-Carry).

Haha - bathroom? Well - if as most know it's on my hip 16/7 - then by default it goes to bathroom!

Hello. Yes, at home too. Model 642 is in a pocket holster and on me and there
will be something more subtantial within arm's reach, usually a .45 auto.

    Best.

Carry at home, absolutely.......Why not??? Just turn on the news and look at how many folks are robbed, injured, raped or murdered in or around their own homes. I carry, like so many others here, anywhere it is legal for me to carry. I feel naked when I go into a place that legally forbids me to carry concealed and in most cases will not even go into that place. At night my carry weapon is next to me in a holster mounted on my wooden bed frame within arms reach. In my car my carry weapon is in a slot next to my drivers seat, totally concealed and readily available.

Gun comes off at work, (into the gun locker), asleep,( hidden rig), or in the shower, otherwise always on, as is right now....

At home I'll relax and remove my holsters and use my back pocket or keep my handguns on the table beside me.

One comes to the bathroom with me. I don't like being caught unarmed with my pants down!

I also have Shower Buddy™ (Cold Steel CAT Tanto).

There's also a flanged mace somewhere.
