    First time CC

Tonight was literally the first time I have ever CC'd
    (S&W 3914 in a LH OWB Hume 717)
and the funny thing is after a bit it felt completely natural
like I had been doing it all my life

The challenge is I am only 5/3
and built like a combination of Gollum & Quasimoto

My wife had a few of her friends over
and I visited with them for a minute or two
so I was a little bit self conscious

But neither my wife or my daughter noticed
until I told the I had been carrying all evening
(and they are both sharp at picking up on things with me)
So I am confident no-one else noticed either

Well, I'm not quite picturing that, but good luck to you, and keep up the good work. It's awful hard for the family not to find out sooner or later.

Carry all the time. No one will know. It is suprising how easy it is.

Sometimes it's easier for the small guys to carry than those of us with plenty of real estate, but revealing curves and bulges. My group has a little guy, maybe 5-2 and 110# who carries a Combat Commander everywhere IWB at 3pm. Everyone is so used to seeing him in oversized baggy t-shirts, he never gets a second look.

    Good for you.
But a little secret. Nobody is looking to see if you're armed.

It's a great, warm feeling. Just stay safe, and try not to think about it!

    OH I agree completely

But my wife can see and sense
any change in my appearance or behavior
and she can be especially sensitive when she has company

    So my walking out "packing"
into a group of her friends was definitely
a test if I was able to successfully conceal

A skinny hump, then? Or, all head and no body? Something like ... this? (see below)

    Well, not quite like that

    I am all upper body
with almost no hips: and legs to match

the good thing is my gun hides nicely
in the "Overhang" of my shoulders

    roughly like this

I think your generalization is correct; but then I know that I, for one, being new to CCW, do try to see if there's anyone else carrying.
