A lot of good advice so far...I'll add one more thing...out of sight, out of mind. Pocket carry a revolver. Let things cool off for a while...she may just not like the idea of you strapping a gun on your hip to get the paper out of the driveway. She may feel like she's dating a cop. (no offence intended to any leos) Ask her what she thinks about pocket carry...she'll probably warm up to that a lot quicker than a full sized 1911 on your hip. I can hear her now..."You're not Dirty Harry you know" Been there, done that.

My boss is the same way. He can understand carrying, but can't comprehend why I carry ALL the time. Or why I feel the need to.

If you can predict when and where you will need a gun, you better become a psychic. You'll be rich.

The only time to need a gun is when you are suddenly aware that you can't stop Bubba from making you a victim.

    Hey All,
Thanks for your responses, much appreciated. I intend on continuing to carry all the time and hopefully she will just get used to. If this still is an issue (which I can’t imagine it to be) it's not like I'm married to her so... I can always start looking again!!! Thanks again all.

IMO...just keep carrying...she will get used to it...or she will leave, but are you willing to change your moral values for this woman?
