Got my new life time permit in the mail today. Grabbed my new S&W 360PD and Took the Wally Walk of Fame. Purchased some 38 special target rounds and a Chicken Teriaki sub. Wife asked "what are you grinning about?" Told here about this forms running wal-mart joke. I have carried at wal-mart lots of times before with my old 4 year permit and my PT111 9mm. I felt it was my duty to break in the life time permit as a new DC.com member and to it right.

Isn't it amazing how fast 4 or 5 year permits run out. I got stuck this time with an expired permit. Had to go unarmed for 5 weeks cause I missed the my expiration date.
Your right, the time does go fast on them, I keep better track of the experation date on my CCW permit than I do my drivers license. Wish Virginia offered a lifetime permit. Would renew immediately to get it.

Congrats! I've had mine since August of '06. It sure took alot longer to recieve the Lifetime LTC, [approx. 6 wks], than it did my first one in '85. That one took all of a week or so.

no lifetime permits in texas. but they go from four years to ten years on the third renewal{fourth permit}. aint no youngsters getting that ten year ccl.:sign 10:
