Very well written letter, I somehow feel embarassed that one of our countries finest was treated in such a manner.
Thank you for the service you provide to my family and this country...
please keep us posted on any response.-though I have a feeling none will be given by the corporation...
Is there a list of establishments this corp. owns...we do not have the place you are talking about in michigan, but it might be another name?

Good for you! One suggestion that I add to any similar communications I make like this is I tell them that I will be posting their establishment were every gun owner in your state will now know their policy and they too can avoid eating there. I emphasize that gun owners are a very tight nit community and like to hear about those that don’t want our business. If they decide to change their policy toward gun owners I will gladly notify people of this decision also. Please contact me if you would like to discuss this further. Sometimes I actually get a call.

I, like everyone else compliment the writing of your wife's letter and the straight forward and responsible way that you handled the situation. If anything, I believe your encounter reflected excellently on the gun toting community. Its still a crying shame that you were treated as such. Just out of curiosity; did there appear to be any customers who were uncomfortable or any business lost by the restaurant? This seems like the only justifiable reason for asking you to leave (though its no excuse in my opinion because of the principle of the matter).
Sir: Pay the bill. Enclose your letter to the manager, president. Then forward a copy of your letter to "EACH" board member. You can get their addresses from the SEC. With todays economy, restaurant's are doing kartwheels to get customers. I am sure they will review the policy that he has instituted. A little paperwork, but you WILL get result's. Oh!, send certified mail. Return receipt requested.
Here everyone is going back and forth about open carry vs. conceal carry.... I live in ILLINOIS, its easy there---------NO CARRY.... So either way u prefer or dont prefer to carry, look on the bright side, it could be worse.... By the way, very nice letter, well written

I agree that it was a well written letter as most have said. Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

Great letter, please keep us posted, on a reply. Here in Utah, we can go into a restaurant, that serves alcohol concealed.
