It's at meisner park ampetheater. It's in Boca Raton Florida. I am sure they will sell alcohol where you can sit and they will also have a bar and vendors selling alcohol. But how different is that from a restraunt? You can order alcohol where you sit in most restraunts in my county. This stuff is always so sticky lol. I just don't want to break the law.
Maybe I will just bring a pocket knife and rely on my Krav Maga skills if I get into any tense situations. Thanks for all the help guys.
I would NOT call the head of security and ask if its okay. It may not be on his radar screen and putting it on his radar screen might inspire him to install metal detectors and such. If it's not illegal its better to ask forgiveness than permission.

Page 68 goes on to say that you cannot carry "in the portion of the premises that is primarily devoted to that purpose", that of of serving alcohol.
"but you can sit at a dinner table, go to other places within the establishment not within or through the bar area, and even order drinks with your meal, or just order drinks".
He refers to "a restaurant, bar, nightclub, or other establishment".
So my interpretation based on page 68 is, that I can and will carry my concealed carry weapon everywhere I go with the exception of;
1. Federal buildings
2. Schools
3. Sterile area of Airports
4. Sitting in a bar, on a bar stool with elbows on the bar and a drink wrapped around my hand.
5. Other places/events that post no weapons allowed and I decide that the penalties are not worth the risk of discovery.
I think a lot of people confuse the fact that alcohol and guns don't mix with if there is alcohol, it must be illegal.
Not the case as far as I'm aware, and if I'm wrong, please correct the errors of my ways
edit: sorry didn't see your post #15 before posting

Since you are carrying in FL, I reccomend you keep this info in your wallet anyway. We are well into interpreting a lawyer, which is confusing at best and can get you arrested as a test case at worst.

Carried at Jax Philharmonic last Friday nite... IWB with sport coat. There were alcoholic drinks available in the lobby but we were there for music not mai-tai, so I ignored the wet bars, etc.
I was vexed to be denied entry on first attempt because of my camcorder... grumbled to myself all the way to the car. "Geez, great to know the Times-Union Performing Arts Center is less concerned about the personal safety of their sheeple patrons than they are if somebody bootlegs a performance for personal use." I got over it, but it was nice to feel the comfortable weight of my XD40 strong side as I walked past the dozing unarmed(?) security at Intermission.
Incidentally, woman two rows down from me had smuggled her camcorder in and captured most of the evenings performance. I preferred my XD anyway!
