As far as iwb holsters: I personally prefer offset loop designs, they seem to distribute the gun's weight over a wider area and make for a thinner profile. Take a look at the Milt Sparks Watch Six and Versa Max II, Eric Larsen's COM, etc.. A good gunbelt makes all the difference too. They can be a bit pricey but it's worth every penny for the benefits.
I'll second the "box of holsters" phenomenon, it sucks but it happens to most of us. Too bad we can't gather them up and send them to the pros (like Eric) for recycling into something useful ... and maybe get a 10% credit on the good stuff.
