Cyan Paper to Ward Off Animals?

Just wondering if that would work along the lines of the powdered cs type stuff that you use in the military to keep animals from digging up trash buried in the ground? If not, does anyone have any ideas?

I'm partial to magenta, myself, but that's just me. Dunno what the bears would most enjoy.

(Just jokin' around, being as it's so early. No offense intended ... toward critters or otherwise.)

Seriously, though, I have yet to see any form of human-handled trash (short of biohazard) that seems to keep the critters away. Landfills, included. CN powder is a good idea, though. Expensive, if there is a lot to cover. For example, I can't imagine anything that could keep gulls or rats away from a landfill.

Used to use mothballs on perimeter of campsite. Kept skunks and raccoons out.
I suggest that if you can find in your inner self the will to inflict violence on someone who is trying to victimize you, and can back up that iron will with all the force that you can muster, you will most likely be successful.

I put habenero chilli powder on plants the deer like to eat - they take a bite or two and then leave that plant alone for a long time. It doesn't hurt the plants at all either. I've used it on everything from rose bushes to apple trees, the deer hate it. I bet it would work on other animals, too, but probably not quickly enough to make it a valid defensive tool.

    Peace,

My wife used cayenne Pepper powder from Sam's Club to keep wild boars from rooting up her lawn when we lived in FL.. It worked! You could hear those pigs yell after a nose full of pepper. After a few weeks, we were the only home in the complex that did not have pig damage. We often wondered if you hunted them , would you have to season them????

Hey...I was a little boy when I heard that song as an Oldie but, Goodie.

By the Way - just to stay on topic...they used to say sprinkle Cayenne pepper on the flowers that you plant at the cemetery and the deer would not eat the flowers. I tried that and they got eaten up regardless.
