Finally Made the Wally World carry !!!

Got my permit last week and didn't want a full week to pass before I officially started carrying, so I made my way to my area wallyworld. The sad thing is there is no snackbar anymore for the nachos.

I purchased some ammo and checked out what was in stock and looked at the clothing to see if they had any cover clothing I liked and picked up a few other items and left.

It was amazing how aware I was of what all was happening around me and in my mind at first I was having those thoughts that someone was making me and I was being watched. After a few minutes though, those feelings evaporated and I was comfortable with the surroundings.

I wore some cargo shorts with and IWB holster, tucked in T-shirt and a button up sport shirt untucked for my cover shirt and my sandals !! It was very hot here yesterday so I looked like most other people around trying to deal with the heat.

I packed my full size 1911 and had it cocked and locked. I wanted to carry my first time with my favorite piece.

As it gets even warmer and if I have to wear tighter clothes for various reasons I may have to go to a smaller gun. that will be another issue for later.

anyway, my first one is in the books and all went well and I hope to keep it that way !!!!

Congrads on the Wally Walkthrough. Is it possibe Wally World is phasing out the snack bars because they know of this 'initiation ritual'?

I think I still have about three months to wait, at least. DPS is back logged big time. My intructor told me four months but everything I read on the TXCHL forum said it could be as long a six months.
