Excellent! I suspect the reaction in Nashville would be different, but then I have never tried. When I did call Metro about concealed carry, the well-informed officer told me I could be arrested and charged with intent-to-go-armed, permit or not.Originally Posted by Agave

my permits: ME = concealed firearms license (you can conceal any firearm, even long guns if you so desire, with this license ). NH = pistol/revolver license. NY = pistol permit.

Lifetime License To Carry a Handgun.
LTCH is the frequent short form. Lifetime licenses are fairly new, and you can still choose a four year license if you like.

In Iowa its a "Permit to Carry Weapons" (PCW). Allows open carry inside city limits, and conceled carry everywhere else.

The Tn law used to be concealed carry permit. It was changed by the legislatureto HCP hand gun carry permit. You can and are totally legal to carry open if you choose to do so.
