    An armed Wal-Mart cart pusher?

Maybe we should add this to the Most Dangerous Jobs thread.

    It's a collapsible baton brand.

Like Taser, the brand name has been misappropriated by the masses to describe all collapsible batons.

Speaking of pushing carts at wal-mart.. Yesterday, I had to venture there and pick up a few items... no not ammo, I got that on saturday! 500+ rounds (the blazer brass is cheaper than WWB value pack things.) While in the parking lot, I noticed a primo parking spot that everyone was passing up.. I was like what the hell is wrong with these people. So I make it there, and start to turn my truck in.. well there were 4 empty buggies there. Not being one to back down from buggies.. I used my brush guard to push them out of my way into the middle section between the rows..

I really hate people who just leave their buggies because they are too lazy to take them the 30' to the nearest buggy thing. Needless to say when I returned to my truck, I pushed them all together and right into the parking spot next to me... just kidding I put them where they belong in their little buggy pen.

I have had a death threat in the neighborhood, but. 24/7 carrying is getting oppressive.

Do not be so quick to judge someone just by their appearance!!! I know many DEA, FBI, Navy S.E.A.L.'s and so forth that at times look like "bums" but looks can be deceiving!!!!! You never know who you may be looking at or talking to.

Suddenly I now feel much more safe going to WM. You know in fact I may start leaving my EDC back at home. I wonder if he also had his bullet in his shirt pocket just in case.

All kidding aside, I would think this guy is a walking violation of company policy, and also a buggie pushing fashion statement for the other BG's on the parking lot!

The WalMart parking lot in my town has had 2-3 fatal shootings in the last 3 months or so. It's gang central.

+1 on Wal Mart parking lots being one of the more dangerous places in town! It is like our own little 3rd world country. The local gang bangers seem to favor the Wally World parking lot as their favorite place to meet, greet, beat & otherwise do business. Shootings, muggings, drug deals/busts, carjackings, etc., it all happens there with alarming regularity. The wife & I try to limit our trips to Wally World to early morning when most of the human trash is home sleeping off the previous nights "activities".

Maybe your cart pusher is an over the top Mall Ninja wannabe. Maybe he is a UC LEO trying to make your Wal Mart a safer place.

I say good for him. Nothing wrong with have some kind of personal protection. In my last place of residence there was a WalMart nearby and it was in a crap neighborhood. Several gang related shooting, fights, assaults and muggings in or nearby the parking lot.
