Received my NY CC Permit
I received my permit 3 weeks ago. Really not that bad about 6 weeks total. It felt like 6 months. Shot my MP9 for the past 3 weekends. Made great improvements hitting the black 99% of the time . Did the wally world walk and even the malls.. First day walking into Wally World a trooper happened to be standing at the front door. Let me tell you the I nearly pee'd myself lol , but that weird feeling is gone (feeling like your illegal) and very comfortable carrying. All I do now is buy up as much 9mm I can find at Wally world.

Congrats and stay safe. Pretty quick turn around, still waiting for mine almost 2 months and counting.

The quote from Top Gun comes to mind...
Slider: Goose who's butt did you kiss to get in here anyway?
Goose: The list is long, but distinguished.
on the permit...I'm sure the taste will go away eventually.

Six weeks is great for NY. You would't happen to be in Wayne County? I hear they have really sped up their process. It took me over 9 months in Monroe. Congrats and be safe!

Congradulations.
I got mine a couple of weeks ago - it only took about 2 months. I underestemated how much of a dent ammo was going to have on my budget though!

Congratulations. That's an amazing turnaround time. I remember mine took more than 4 months.
