Probably more likely to cause a crazy liberal to slash his tires than to deter any thief. What good is a box of ammo if no one is around to use them.

Around here I would be afraid that ammo on the dashboard would get so hot that it would go off. Lots of people do strange things for strange reasons. I would say this falls near that category.

+1 here... if it's hot enough to 'fry' an egg....

I sure hope he isn't in Kalifornia. If someone breaks in and steals that ammo, he will be liable for transferring a box of 50 and will probably be in more trouble than the BG. He should reconsider.

That is a good way for him to get his window smashed by a skell looking to score a gun. When I worked in the Bronx, there was a skell that got locked up for breaking into police officer's personal vehicles. His reason for breaking into said vehicles was to find a gun.

If the BG's want ammo they know where to get a box

Your friend is very foolish. Even if the box is empty he is inviting someone to break into his car in the hopes of finding his gun and a box of bullets. Why look for trouble?

That's like leaving a wad of 100 dollar bills on the dashboard, you just don't do it!

That's about the dumbest thing I've ever heard. And this guy owns a gun? Yikes.

Anyhoo, your friend is stupid, plain and simple.
