Actually had this handy fr when I checked on my wife's permit status...... BTW, hers took about 60 days.

Also if its been less than 45 days since you mailed your application they will not give you any info. Good luck.

I called less than 45 days after sending my app. They couldn't tell me much, but they did at least tell me they received it.

Yep, right on the back of the License. Just received my Non-Res on Tuesday - in less than 60 days!

A Florida permit is a Florida permit, there is no resident vs. non-resident license. Congrats on receiving yours!

True... At least a non-resident can obtain one, unlike Georgia. IIRC, South Carolina requires that you own property in the state. So, even with a VA & FL, I can't carry in SC.
