With logos gear like this, you will surely stand out in a crowd, but not because you are carrying a gun.

i've been known to wear my northeastshooters t-shirt that says "don't run, you'll only die tired" on the back.sure alot would say it could have a neg effect but hey...
not to mention my OC cap,the t-shirt i got from my local shooting range with a MP-5 on the back and a thompson on front.

all the while semi-OC'ing and never getting a comment from the ...waiting to get myself an OC Monkey T-Shirts.

As far as wearing clothing with firearm company logos on it, in my opinion I think majority of the people who can connect that type of clothing and you ccwing are people like the ones on the forum.

The only way I'm relating to something like that would be for being a fellow redneck. All carry options put aside. I guess that makes us all rednecks now don't it?

I wouldn't go far as to say that. The reason why I said that is because majority of us have knowledge of these companies and some can spot other ccwers. Wasnt trying to offend anyone just saying with our knowlege of firearms and ccwing we would have a good idea about it.

From time to time I wear me M1911.org hat and no one seems to notice. I have found most people do not care or notice.

    OK...

    1. I don't like being a billboard, especially when I have to pay for the billboard myself. If Glock/HK/S.A. wants me to advertise for them, they would send me stuff free of charge and pay me to wear their shirt. It doesn't make sense to me that I pay them so I can advertise for them.

    2. I don't like being identified with my hobbies or interests out in public. The last thing I want to do when going to dinner with my wife is some goober wanting to talk guns, I'm a goober and have plenty of other goobers to talk guns with here on DC.

    3. I think a lot of gun t shirts are borderline tacky.

    4. Perceived or real, Why take the risk? Again, I don't like to advertise the possibility that I have valuables that are easy to steal or I might have a gun. I prefer to be the gray man.

    5. I out grew the "Look at me, I'm a gun owner" novelty a long time ago. Its really not that impressive.

I would never go with gun logo clothing while carrying.

I might use a Side Guard Holsters t-shirt at a gun show or shoot but that is it

Wearing gun logo clothing and carrying a bad idea?
Who's to say? If you come across someone who's "set off" because of it, or changes tactics to your disadvantage because of it, it might end up detrimental. And vice versa. The thing of it is, just like carrying at all, you won't know when that time is until it arrives, so the only way to avoid it is: don't do that.

For myself: I don't advertise. But that's just me.
