Find an old crappy little camera, hollow it out, and stuck a folder in it?

Thats the best I could come up with on short notice.

    Or...

just put whatever you decide to take with you in your bags and arm yourself as soon as you reach your stateroom. If you get attacked between the gangplank and your room while everyone is boarding the ship, you're dealing with the wrong cruise-line.

If you carry in Condition 3, you have two empty chambers. One in the weapon...the other between your ears.

The Jones Brothers' Stylus is great (I've had mine for about 2 months), but, being a "custom", the wait will be "awhile". Another, similar option, would be to contact Clyde, over at TPI (http://www.totalprotectioninteractiv...ead.php?t=1431 ) and see if he has any pocket sticks left. Last, but not least, buy some Devcon 5 Minute epoxy at Walmart, pop the back of a plastic Bic pen off, and fill it up- instant, improvised, stylus that will write.

I really would be disinclined to carry a specifically prohibited weapon aboard a US registered vessel. TSA would be the least of your worries- you would be talking to the Coast Guard, or port authorities of whatever country you were stopping in. Like the FBI, many of these agencies do not issue a sense of humor to their employees.

A roll of quarters in a sweat sock is also an option.
