Well it was a wait but I finally got my CCL yesterday the 10th. So from the day I mailed it out on May 2 to July 10th total wait time was70 days. This time frame included a letter saying that I was 3 bucs short and to send them a check for that amount. This was a huge bummer for me thinking that the letter was actually my license. The letter was received around mid to late June and I immediately sent it back. When I inquired over the phone as to how this would affect my time frame for getting my license I was given the impression that I was set back to day zero. Thank goodness this wasn't so and received my license within a couple of weeks of sending back the letter.
Took my Glock22 .40cal to Walmart for more ammo. Wanted Federal HydraShocks but no luck. So I just picked up some more hollowpoints. It felt a little strange walking through the front doors but other than that, business as usual.
It feels good to know that I'm not just a lump of meat waiting to catch a bullet but instead an able bodied defender of life.
I would like to thank those responsible for defensivecarry.com. What an awesome informative site dedicated to the protection of life.
