Range time with the kids is special, indeed. My four girls argue over who gets to go next (I only take one at a time).

    Enjoy it :)
Liberty is an inherently offensive lifestyle. Living in a free society guarantees that each one of us will see our most cherished principles and beliefs questioned and in some cases mocked. It's worth it.

    It Changes...
I really enjoy shooting with my dad. He is a Vietnam Vet and he convinced me to CCW. However, he feels it is a hassle until just a few days ago when I showed him that I was carrying ol' slab sides. He has just about every pistol except a 1911. However whenever I have it he just has to handle it. He always says that he had one the entire time in Vietnam and I think just having one brings back memories that he may not care to remember.

This goes out to all Vietnam Veterans thank you from one vet to another. We will never understand your struggle but we appreciate you.

Chris thanks for sharing your thoughts and feelings with us. Some of the best times I had with my father were out hunting and shooting. After reading your story I just had to go visit Dad. Got off work early yesterday so I went by his place and we sat on the front porch and talked about guns and shooting. What a great way to spend an afternoon.
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
