I intend to carry as often as I can and stay stafe while doing so.Needless to say I found myself walking behind the other half at a walmart we stopped at. She still can't figure out why I walk behind her instead of beside her now.

I just walk behind her now instead of beside her and when I do I put her on my left side instead of my right and she just looks at me scratching her head. How do I explain to her why I walk behind her now instead of beside her but am only like inch or less away at all times.

I took the CCW course mid-December and immediately (following Monday) sent the app to SLED. Received my CCW permit 6 weeks later, exactly. That's with Christmas and New Years Holiday. I thought that it would take considerably longer due to the holidays but they must not have been busy. Whatever the reason, I was certainly and pleasantly surprised.

Mine came in the mail 2 days ago. Took almost 12 weeks! They sent it to the wrong city! Had the right zip; probably the only way it got delivered.
Feels good, doesn't it,to know you can carry to protect family and friends from anyone who would hurt them. Now if SLED will get that reciprocity thing going w/ Florida, and I'd like to see Georgia, too.
