Mine took nearly 5 weeks at the end of last summer. I figure they're just busy.

I applied for an out of state NH carry license about two months ago and still have not heard back. When I called them they told me it was still in "proccessing" but I heard normally this only takes 3 or so weeks to hear back. I have my carry permit in ME and there would not be any issues with a background check so I find this odd. Is it possible they just have a very large back log?
Mine took 6-7 weeks, if I remember correctly.
Hang in there.

Large backlog and severly understaffed.
It'll be worth the wait.
The only state I could add that would accept me if I had a NH permit would be Wyoming. And I really can not figure out why Wyoming doesn't recognize Missouri.
Only 13 states don't recognize Missouri permit as it is now. (not including D.C., WI and IL who recognizes no one!)
Missouri now has reciprocity in more states than Florida.
It sucks that Missouri doesn't offer any non-resident permits.

Mine took about 9 weeks.

About 4 weeks for mine and they were very helpful. They returned calls on their "dime" several times.
I got my NH around a year and a half ago and I think it was around 14 days or so. I must have gotten before the rush.
I applied April 13, 2008 and received my permit right after July 4.
