    Question Natchez Trace Parkway ?

We are planning on riding the Natchez Trace next month.
We'll be going through Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee.
I know these states laws on CC, how about the Trace ?

I did not see anything on their website.

Is a leather saddlebag (my wife has a Road King Classic ) qualifies as a location inaccessible by the "driver" ???

    Thanks for your input !!!

The first rule of a gunfight: "Don't be there !"
The second rule: "Bring enough gun"

The Trace is Federal property. Possession of a firearm is prohibited. I think you can have it, as long as it is locked in the trunk unloaded and away from the ammo.

E.T.A. I just noticed that you will be riding bikes. The best thing would be to call the park rangers office and ask them. The visitor information number is (800) 305-7417. Hope this helps.

The Natchez Trace Parkway is managed by the National Park service, so until there firearms rules change
you'll have to unload your sidearm, and store it and the ammo in a different location.

Natchez Trace Parkway (U.S. National Park Service)

I pulled the clip out of my pistol and put the pistol in one pocket of my T-Bag and the clip in another pocket on the other side of the bag

But two different saddle bags should also work.

You may also want to check back with this forum, because the rules may change regarding CCL in National Parks, but I dough it does before you leave. Enjoy the ride, it's fantastic, and don't forget to stop off, at some of the little towns along the way.
