Because I can.
As somebody tag line "Dont mess with the old guys because they have nothing to lose. Smart think about faking heart attack and good shooting on his part.
The aunt of one of these 'could do no wrong thugs' said he was an star basketball player who was working on his GED...code for an idiot who quit high school.
These guys got EXACTLY what they 'earned'...:congrats:
Two more down...thousands to go...:yup:
Great vid...this 70 year-old reacted quickly and violently...a message to all...:congrats:
Stay armed...even at home...stay safe!
When seconds count, Police are minutes away.
Smart, and cool under pressure. Faking a heart attack to gain time and move without being perceived as a threat; recognized a semi-automatic with a high-capacity magazine (uzi-like weapon mentioned during interview) coming through the door; and fired accurately until the threat was gone.
Reminds me I need to get to the range each week, instead of each month.
Apparently Kentucky's Castle Doctrine does not provide civil immunity (God Bless Colorado) even when the shooting is deemed by the police and other authorities to be in self-defense.
Good for the older man. Very good thinking on his part. As mentioned before, if you mess with an old guy, they'll just kill you because they are too old to fight or run away. :yup:
2 more scum bags down, the entire human race cumulatively got smarter. Several hundred thousand more scum bags to go.
It just amazes me the way the news media always tries to spin these things to make the victim the criminal and criminal the victims.
Looks like the old timer dropped in two from 3-point land and won it at the buzzer. :congrats: Now the media will try and spin it to make it look like the victim dashed the hoop dreams of those two losers. I wonder if there are b-ball courts in hell? Those two hell-bound clowns better hope so.
Glad the old man and his wife made it ok.
fascinating post thanks for sharing.
I carry a pistol because I want to have options.
Several years ago I was working next door to a restaurant that was robbed and several patrons were assaulted in the process.
A Sheriffs Deputy I was friends with made the comment "one person with a weapon could've made a big difference".
I went that week to begin the process of obtaining a CCW license.
I must say it was an unusually long interview with the victim. I thought he was awesome! In control and great job articulating the events. Shows CCW in a good light!
I do agree with exactlymypoint that the follow up news report on the street did attempt to spin the events somewhat. Still came out that it was a self defense shooting. Scumbag's "Great Aunt" needs a reality check! "Maybe someone forced him to do it!" Yeah, that happens all the time!
Two losers won't be doing that again! And no early release from the big sleep! :loser: x 2
they got what they deserved i would of done the same thing in that situtation good quick thinking about faking the heart attack and good shooting on the seniors part
