I know this has been discussed a million time but I honestly can't sem to get the hang of the search. Can I have several sites where I can get stories to scare my GF into wanting to protect herself?
Cornered Cat would be a good start.
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do. Eleanor Roosevelt

To bring up more pertinent information try using more specific search strings, such as “rapist stopped by armed homeowner”, “armed homeowner stops home invasion” or “carjacking foiled by armed driver”. Just type them in without the quotes unless you want to bring up only those stories.
When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.
"Don't forget, incoming fire has the right of way."
Try this Google Search
Home invasions, shooting, robbery
It brings up news stories about home invasions and robberies.
Bookmark the search, and keep an eye on things. You can enhance it by adding your home state, or nearest large city.

You can go to google and have an automated search done for any number of news phrases. They will e-mail you when those phrases come up.
There is no such thing as what you are looking for. If you try to 'scare' somebody into submission you have not really won, and if they carry, it will only be because some 'paranoid' person made them.
There are many sites where people discuss things that happened to them and why they carry. Defensive Carry is one of those, and like mentioned above, Cornered Cat is a great one for females in general.
But I don't know of any site that will force somebody to do anything. It's a choice. Some people will always believe it will never be them. You can't change that.
Even if you convince her, you could be hated for it.
There is, indeed, something to the saying, "Ignorance is bliss."
There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil.
Who is John Galt?
I prefer the book route...I can offer two 'easy read' books that will grab anyone's attention about why Guns Save Lives...
I live in the Gainesville, FL area and about 45 minutes south is the town of Ocala. There is a local author there who has two books I would suggest reading...all short stories (2-4 page stories each)
The author is Robert A. Waters, and the two paperbacks I would recommend are: The Best Defense (about 200 pages), and Guns Save Lives (about 170 pages)...you'll read each one in a night...hard to put down.
I have shared the books with several individuals, and all were glued to the stories...real eye-openers.
I think this would give anyone a wake-up call about what a dangerous world we live in...and just how much truth there is to the saying..."Any time, any place..."
They can be had through Amazon...around $15 each.

Buy your GF a copy of Thank God I Had A Gun, by Chris Bird.
When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.
How about the evening news? That should do it.Can I have several sites where I can get stories to scare my GF into wanting to protect herself?
America: Your government is not ignoring you, it's insulting you.
The Bill of Rights: Void where prohibited by law.
Maasad Ayoob has one called "Ayoob Files"
Robert Waters has another called "Outgunned"
David Kenik has a great book "Armed Response"
All of these are excellent reads.

Scarring her into it would probably do nothing more than gain her submission to carrying. The question is, does she internally have what it takes to actually use it?
I'd start by making her aware of potential dangers while you are out together and how to be vigilant and avoid them. Afterall, avoiding a problem is much better than solving one.
Then you might be able to move forward.
