Carry while lounging at home?
I was wondering how others carry when at home? After work and on weekends when the Honey do list is done, if that's possible. I'm puttering around in gym shorts or cut off sweats, in the ''chair" watching the game or other mindless things w/ no belt for a holster. I find myself using the SmartCarry out side my shorts @ 9 O'clock weak side draw, it seems to be quite comfortable. The wide elastic strap even when loosened holds my 2lb 40c easley and securely of course this is only at home. I hope I don't get beat up too bad on this weird use of my SC, used to come home & lock up weapon but after being part of this Forum Ive come to my senses. Would like to hear other ideas. Thanks, Cling-On

Whatever works. I slide to my P3AT in a cheap uncle mikes clip on for shorts without a belt. Since it weighs nothing, good 2 go.

same as everyplace else ... what I've got is comfortable enough that I don't mind wearing it.

I carry all of the time...no compromise. And yes...I've even fallen asleep on the couch with it. I use the same rig I do for every day carry. Very comfortable. Never without.

I've gotten to the point where if I don't have it on me I feel naked. It only comes off of me when the lady and I sit down to watch a movie. She usually wants to sit on my strong side and gets startled by my concealed gun because she can't tell if I'm carrying or not. So I'll just take my rig off and stick it in the side of the sofa.

I use Smartcarry when in running shorts or PJs. If I have pants/shorts with a belt, It is my main carry holster for the gun.

+1 I agree w/Ramrod. I carry in an MTAC and it is very comfortable.

I usually just leave on however I've carried through the day. Sometimes if it's IWB, I'll switch to OWB once I get home, maybe even my Kydex Comp-tac OWB which doesnt conceal well but is most comfy.
Sitting around in gym shorts I'd think the Smart Carry would fit the bill just fine.

I always have my colt cobra in a pocket or on my hip when in my house. To me it makes perfect sense to carry at home as well, there been alot of home invasions as of late in my neighborhood to. I think they've had like 4 in the last 5 months.

home invasions are the preferred method for perps out here.
I've read where they wait for the car to pull into the garage, sneak in as it closes and wait for you...or hide and wait for you to open the door of your house. scary stuff.

VM2, but if I'm lounging in my boxers or something, it just sits next to me on the table or something, like when I go to sleep. Except I usually put a magazine over it when I sleep so if someone makes it all the way in to my room somehow without me waking up, it's not in plain sight for them to use against me.
