Not quite true. Only have to inform them if you are carrying at the time. Otherwise you don't have to inform. I always do even when I'm not carrying. Has gotten me out of many a ticket
Note that in Texas, you must carry your CHL, as well as inform an LEO if "contact" by an LEO is made. You might want to look at the Packing.org site and use their "License Tools" for further information.

While there is no limit specified in Michigan law, it was once mentioned in the past, by a certain FORMER Wayne County prosecutor that he was looking to bust, or have busted a Michigan CPL holder who had more than one pistol concealed on their person. His contention was that the license was for only one pistol.
However, I have been advised by both the State Police, and the State Attorney General's office that there is no legal limit on the number of Pistols(or revolvers) that can be carried with a CPL.
Also, fortunately, that former county prosecutor went on to a different job.
And, while concealed does mean concealed, in Michigan, IF your weapon(s) should become visible, you are not in a world of legal trouble, since OPEN carry is legal here also.
But I wouldn't advise anyone attempt open carry....specially in downtown Detroit.

Plus - I mean - heck - if we are ''permitted (bletch) to carry at all - then what the heck does it matter - if we have one or several - I mean - we only have two hands (or so I am told!).

Here in Oregon the permit is on the person not the gun hence as many as you can carry, or it gets to dangerous when around large bodies of water

MN...no limit or restrictions...open or concealed...must inform LEO if asked by them...DNR now is OK with carry in state parks. Now we're working on the "stand your ground" bit.
I suppose that when I'm in AZ I'll have to loose the BUG if they only allow 1 gun. Guess I'll call the AZ dept public safety before I ever go there.

New Mexico. Another unusual thing there is that places off-limits for carry include establishments that sell alcohol in any form. Even a convenience store.

Here in the Philippines civilians are allowed to carry 2 handguns and 1 rifle, or it depends on your permit to carry firearms license. I carry 2 .45 pistol with me.
